This was my first attempt at canning hamburger. I've never even tasted canned hamburger, I've just heard people do. So I'll be interested to see how it tastes in spaghetti or something like that:)
This is a picture of 1 1/2 dozen eggs all at one time. It's been fun getting eggs from our chickens, although I now have to guess at how many eggs to use when a recipe calls for so many "large" eggs, becaue the size of our eggs varies so much (as seen in the picture below). I wish you could really appreciate how small the small one is and how big the big one is. The picture just doesn't do it justice.
