Oh my Sarah:)

Sarah is my sweet goofy girl.  These pictures have nothing in common, except for her sweet face:)

This is Sarah trying on her new snow gloves and hat
before going to Snowflake during the winter.

We went to the dollar store one day as a reward for
meeting certain school goals.  Since Sarah is not
in school yet and is not working on any goals, I let
her get something anyway.  This monkey cost $1 and
has velcro hands.  We always call her a little monkey,
so it is so cute seeing her walk around with
 a monkey on her back:)

On this night Darrell was working, and Darrell and Emily were
not at home.Sarah wanted to sleep with me.  I laid her
down a couple hours before I went to bed.  When I came to bed
this is what I found. I wasn't sure if I would fit.
She loves her "babies." She always talks about her "kids."
Randomly in a conversation she will say "my kids like..." or
"my kids don't..." etc. It is soooo funny.  We asked about her
kids and she tells us 14 some days 4 on other days.
 I love this sweet girl:)

What...Hail...In Arizona??

Last week we were blessed with a lot of rain.  One rainy day we heard a loud noise that started suddenly.  We looked outside and it was hailing like crazy! The pieces of hail were the size of marbles. The kids thought it was great and so did I.  It was the best part of my day.

Sarah was going balistic about the hail wanting it to stop.  She heard us call it hail and got mad because she thought her Aunt Hailie was "doin' it," and she wanted her to stop.  She eventually loved the hail.

The Hair Experiment

For school we read "Going to Town: My First Little House Books" by Laura Ingles Wilder.  In the story Mary and Laura are going to town and their mother puts rags in their hair to make it curly.  Emily has straight straight hair but is obsessed with curls.  She wanted me to tie her hair up.  So we did, and then of course Sarah wanted to play.  Her hair is already curly...so the result was interesting.
