Fresh Fish!!!

When it comes to food my kids can be a little weird. They have some foods they don't like that I think are fairly kid friendly. Rice & gravy, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes. Emily doesn't like pizza. They both don't care for baked mac & cheese. Derek doesn't like spaghetti. Anyway, the point I'm getting to is there is one food they all like and I think is disgusting...KIPPERED SNACKS. Yes!!! Canned fish...Yuck!!! They all tried it because after seeing dad eat it several times they wanted to try it. So the following are pictures of the kids practically begging to have the next bite.

Easter

My Easter post is very late, but better late than never...right?? Our Easter celebrations are very simple. We colored a dozen eggs on Saturday, and then Sunday morning had an egg hunt. I also did plastic eggs with candy and coins.

Emily had a frown on her face for awhile because Derek was getting the eggs she wanted. Eventually she caught on to search a separate part of the yard.

Sarah had a good time looking for eggs. She was the first to stop hunting. She was happy with her small pile of eggs. She wanted the candy!

This first picture is my sweet boy opening an egg for Sarah.

The second picture, although you can not see her face, was a whiny moment for Emily.
