Derek Grand Canyon - October 2014

Derek's 4th grade class went on a field trip to the Grand Canyon...it ended up being a MUCH longer trip than anticipated.  Darrell went with him, which I was glad of.  They had major bus troubles and instead of getting home at 8pm like they were supposed to, they didn't make it back until around 2am.  I was so glad Darrell was with him so I didn't have to worry so much.

Cast- October 2014

Emily fell when doing the monkey bars at school.  She had a small break in the wrist which dad casted.  The week before she had been wishing to have a broken arm...and she got her wish, although why she was wishing for it in the first place is beyond me.

Phoenix Temple Open House - Oct 2014

We went to the Phoenix Temple Open House with my mom.  It was a nice overcast day.  We went first thing in the morning and so we didn't have to wait in a lot of crowds which was so nice.

This was a souvenir picture taken after our tour.

Miscellaneous

Sometimes I just get a bunch of random pictures that I don't feel like separating into individual events, so here is a collection of those pictures.

This first group of pictures were taken in the forest near a water preserve.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!! We got snow before thanksgiving which was kind of fun.  Totally surprising.  The kids enjoyed it while it lasted.

Before thanksgiving, the kids saw a stage production of Annie.  During Thanksgiving they performed numerous scenes from the show.  It was very cute.  This is there final bow.
