During one of our visits to Snowflake there was a massive rain storm. Later in the evening I hear this loud noise from outside. It's the sound of frogs croaking away. Derek of course had to go and look for one in the dim light of evening, and yes he found one. He wanted to keep looking, but I was too nervous about the lightning.

Your children are so lucky they are having the big city experience but get to enjoy living in the country too. I loved growing up in the country and seeing nature in all its different moods.
