Trip to the Desert.

Darrell and I had a shared Saturday off so we took a trip to the desert to enjoy some time outside before it gets too hot. Derek and Darrell did a lot of exploring while I sat with the girls. I'm not generally the exploring type. I prefer to sit in the shade and enjoy the scenery. The one downfall was the allergens were everywhere causing Darrell and I to have very itchy noses...but we survived. Darrell likes to explore the old mines. He showed me one...I couldn't believe how deep it was. My heart rate went up just looking down in...it was soooo deep and dark.
