I really need to find a more creative way to label these completely random picture posts...but I'm not that creative:)
I took a sewing class from Darrell's mom, and one day we made aprons. I made the basic apron and she made it cuter by adding the letters and ruffle:) I would have just left it plain without her help...the girls loved them!
This was another sewing class project...learning to patch. Patch jobs of course look like patches, so after I patched the knees I added flowers to cover the patch.
I couldn't find a desk for the giro's room that suited what I wanted, so I built one instead. Darrell of course helped me with the cutting and assembly, but I designed it. Very simple, but very functional. They each have a shelf for their "special items," and plenty of space to play and draw. This is the unfinished version. We also painted it white and added a glass top.
Emily with cousin Kylee.
Emily with two extra heads. Goofy!
Enjoying sonic treats...I don't remember why...just for fun I guess...who needs a reason for ice cream anyway?
Derek's award for making the Superintendent's List.
Playdough "cookies" and a dying snowman.
Dressed up Teddy Bear.
Emily and Sarah practicing sewing at Grandma Brimhall's house.
Around Valentine's day, the girls went to an art class. It was put on by one of the ladies who works in Sarah's class at school. They loved it.
I can't remember who's is who's...oops:)
It's that time of year again. All the critters are coming out and Derek is ready to catch them.
Derek and Darrell went on a camping trip. The girls crashed with me. They were so cute sleeping next to each other:)
A sweet note and drawing from Sarah.
Translation:
I Love you Dad
Love Mom and Anna
and Derek and Emily
and ? (this is for the baby I lost back before Derek was born, we didn't know the gender because it was still to early but the kids still like to include that baby) and Jesus Christ
of Latter day Saints
The two babies are ? and Anna. I'm not sure...but we might be related to monkeys (note ear size).
