Anna Elizabeth Brimhall

There are not words to describe the loss of a baby, no matter how small and young.  Anna Elizabeth was delivered stillborn on September 29, 2014 at the age of 23 weeks. She was 5 oz, 7 1/2 inches long.

We will never know her in this life, but have faith we will get to know her in the next.  We looked forward to her arrival with excitement and anticipation.  We will miss her little baby self.  Her smiles we won't see, her laughs we will not hear.  But we will remember her, and she is and always will be a part of our family.

Darrell constructed a beautiful box for her with help from Grandpa Brimhall.  Handles were provided by Aunt Katie, and Grandma Brimhall sewed the beautiful lining.  A friend of Grandma Brimhall also embroidered Anna's initials on the lining.

Each of the kids contributed one or more things to her box.  Family members that were able gave kisses on notecards to add to her box.  Sweet Emily had her very loved and worn out bear buried with Anna.  Many other cards and notes also were added by family, and a tiny blanket from Aunt Leslie.

On Friday Oct 3, 2014 we laid Anna to rest in the Snowflake Cemetery.  In the early afternoon we prepared her for burial.  It was a sweet experience.  The funeral was simple and beautiful.  We could not have asked for better more wonderful weather.
