I really enjoyed Easter this year. We had our own family Easter egg hunt in the morning, followed by lunch and a hunt at Darrell's cousin's house.
Our family Easter egg hunt was awesome this year for one simple reason. I used an idea from one of the families in our ward. They assign each kid their own color for eggs. We made the rule they could pick up only their color and could not tell the other kids if they found one of their's unless they were asked for help. It was great! We could hide Derek's really hard and Sarah's really easy. They weren't fighting over who had how many and who saw the egg first. Sarah likes to take her time and relishes each find. This way she could enjoy each find without older siblings finding all the others.
