Family Pictures

We have desperately needed updated family pictures, so during one of our stays in Snowflake, Darrell's mom took pictures for us at the temple.

The lollipop shown in many pictures was a decoy to keep Sarah from crying and jumping off our laps:)

It was a little stressful getting the pictures done, but I'm happy with the results...got to love digital cameras. You can take a zillion pictures and delete all that are awful.

I had Sarah's hair nicely done in 2 pigtails, and of course she pulled one out in the car on the way to do pictures...she couldn't wait until after of course. Luckily Grandma had not yet gotten to the temple and brought extra hair things so it could be re-done.

Relaxing with a Book

I've tried with all my kids to introduce them early to books. It has been easy with Sarah because she sees the older two looking at book alot. I walked on her relaxing with a book in the office and had to take pictures.

Snowy Day in Snowflake

We spent a few very chilly weekends in Snowflake this winter. When visiting for James and Becky's wedding it got to 18 below 0!!!!! The coldest I have ever been!

More of Derek's work

A dinosaur and a boat: supposed to read "I went on a boat." H spelled the words himself:)

Animals and sea animals

chickens and garden (cantaloupe and tomatoes)

Fun at home

Some more activities while mom is at work. Who can pass up marshmallow fun!

This time of year in Arizona is so beautiful. The kids love being outside and I love that they can be outside:)

Just a random picture of sweet Sarah:) Just FYI...she no longer is seen with those plugs in her mouth...YIPEE!! She is my first child who will not be sucking on her fingers!

Derek the Artist

Drawings galore! I can not keep up with them! I hate to toss them, but I would have no where to put them all! Pictures of the pictures are the next best thing.

This first one is a park scene and the second a battle scene - he has become increasingly detailed in his pictures lately.

For any Harry Potter fans out there, this is Derek's rendition:)

Star wars and battles

I couldn't get these to turn the right way so use your imaginations:) One is a fire scene and the other a helicopter doing something...I'm not sure what.

Mountains and trees

"Under the Sea"

"Picasso"??
